Already, there are people jeering from the sidelines, claiming that a democratic vote should be overruled by the government, or shouldn’t have been allowed to happen in the first place.  Somewhere along the line, the idea of Western Democracy has been forgotten, and the idea of top down, totalitarian control, has become some kind of twisted ideal.

Fortunately, the older generation remembers the ideals of self government and the disasters caused by bureaucratic control.

If you believe there’s such a thing as “too much democracy,” you probably don’t believe in democracy at all
